Our Story
It all started when a 14 year old Gus got his first taste of the restaurant business at his Uncle’s restaurant. It was there he learned his love of good food, great service, and exceptional hospitality, and he never looked back!
The Gus’s Drive-in location has a long and interesting history. Originally an A&W Root Beer in the 1960’s, the building has been home to many locally loved establishments, before it was purchased by Gus and Jess in 2002. After a nearly six month long renovation, Gus’s opened in the spring of 2003, and since then Gus’s has been enjoyed by local residents, day trippers, vacationers, and classic car enthusiasts.
Most days you will find Gus in the kitchen, Jess manning the front, and all of our smiling hard working staff doing their very best to make each and everyone of your visits unforgettable.
